Chhatarpur News: On August 15, 2025, in the national function organized at the Red Fort, Sarpanch Sanat Manju Jain of Bamitha, Gram Panchayat of Rajnagar district panchayat in Chhatarpur district, will be honored by the Prime Minister of India. Bamitha has been included in 100 selected panchayats across the country for outstanding work in the field of environmental protection, water rescue and plantation.

On the occasion of August 15, 2025, at the national function held at the Red Fort, Sanat Manju Jain, sarpanch of Bamitha, Gram Panchayat of Rajnagar Janpad Panchayat in Chhatarpur district, will be honored by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

Let me tell you, Bamitha Panchayat of Chhatarpur district has also been included in 100 selected panchayats across the country for outstanding work in the field of environmental protection, water rescue and plantation.

Bamitha Panchayat located in Rajnagar tehsil of the district will get respect in New Delhi on the occasion of the upcoming Independence Day. Along with this, President will honor Sanat Manju Jain, head of Bamitha Panchayat in 100 public representatives selected at the country level. The sarpanch is currently in Delhi. Where a 3 -day program is scheduled from 14 August to 16 August.

With the news of the chief being selected, there is an atmosphere of joy in the entire panchayat. Underlining the better work done in the panchayat, Sanat Manju Jain, sarpanch of Bamitha Panchayat, says that the entire village is feeling proud of joining 100 selected panchayats across the country for excellent work in the field of environmental protection, water rescue and plantation.

According to Bamitha Sarpanch, on the call of Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, all the villagers used to dispose of waste together. Wherever polythene and plastic bottles were seen in the village, they used to collect it.

After this, all the polythene and plastic bottles used to gather. Using all of them, a chair and table were constructed in the Gram Panchayat office Bamitha. Due to this, the problem of waste like polythene and plastic in the village gradually started to disappear.

Polythene used to fill polythene in plastic bottles. With the help of villagers, this campaign proved to be a milestone. By constantly trying with the cooperation of the village, we made Bamitha Gram Panchayat a polythene and plastic free.

Let me tell you, former minister and Chhatarpur MLA Lalita Yadav, District Panchayat President Vidya Agnihotri, Municipality President Shivani Chaurasia and District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Tapasya Singh Parihar have been honored earlier in the district level program for excellent work in the execution of cleanliness and polythene plastic to Bamitha Panchayat of the district.
