Changes in WTC Points Table
England has now moved to second place in the World Test Championship points table, with Sri Lanka in the point in percentage. The Indian team has been damaged after the defeat in the Lord’s Test. India has slipped to fourth place, which is not a good sign for their possibilities of reaching the final of 2027, although the early days are still. Three teams, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa, have not played any matches in this cycle yet and hence they are not in the ranking.
