The 29 -year -old Lithuanian woman was trying to conceive for the last 4 years but did not succeed even after all efforts and IVF (in vitro fertilization) twice. Eventually, medical experts described a very rare and shocking reason for this infertility- semen allergy. The woman and her partner made several attempts to conceive in natural ways, but took the help of IVF when the results were not found. The two -time IVF process also failed, due to which the doctors also became confused.

The woman was allergic to asthma, dust, cat fur and fungus. He suspected that perhaps his allergic nature could be the root of his reproductive problems. Further blood tests revealed that the level of white blood cells called eosinophils in the woman’s body is much higher than normal, which helps the body fight allergies. In the woman’s skin test, it was also found that she is also allergic to mites, pollen particles, insects and dogs. Along with this, excessive sensitivity towards Can F5 protein was also found in their body, this protein is found in dogs’ dandruff and urine, and in some cases it is also associated with allergies to human semen.
Woman had allergies
The woman said that after connection with protection, she had problems like nose closure, sneezing, eye irritation and burning sensation in the genitals. When doctors tested his partner’s sperm sample, he was confirmed that he had seminal plasma hypersensitivity – Sph. Seeman allergy is called seminal plasma hypersensitivity. This is a rare allergy in which the woman’s body starts fighting against the protein found in the sperm as external and harmful. This condition is considered type 1 hypersensitivity, which produces severe and fast reactions like peanuts, animal dandruff and other acute allergies. Sph treatment, condom is used, but the woman wanted to be pregnant, so she did not adopt this remedy.
