New Delhi. Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been included in the ICC Hall of Fame. Now his name has been added to the list of veterans who have been involved in this list. The ICC announced this on Monday. The great wicketkeeper-batsman has now become the 11th player of India to get this honor. Former Indian coach Ravi Shastri praised Dhoni and compared him to his pocket. In a funny manner, he said that his hands were faster than the pocket.
Dhoni’s sharp glovework often caught attention, which surprised the batsmen. Shastri jokingly said to Ian Bishop, “His (Dhoni) hands were faster than a pocket.
Dhoni said that his name is a great honor to join the list of great players. “It is an honor to be nominated in the ICC Hall of Fame, which recognizes the contribution of generations and cricketers from all over the world. Remembering your name with such great players is a wonderful experience. This is something that I will always cherish.”
