The continuous rains since the arrival of the monsoon have submerged the villages. Crops have been damaged in the low -lying areas of Punjab. All these things have hurt a lot to the young star and Test captain of the Indian team Shubman Gill. He expressed his grief on social media about this.
Due to continuous rains, the common people living in Punjab have suffered a lot. Out of 23 districts of the state, 12 districts have been affected due to this. People living in Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur and Amritsar have been affected the most due to this. The state has received 253.7 mm of rainfall in August, which is 74 percent higher than normal and the highest in the last 25 years.
