Pakistani team will go on a 5 -day tour Bangladesh, still many upside down, many seniors were out

New Delhi. Pakistan has declared a team for the three -match T20 series against Bangladesh. Salman Aga will captain Pakistan in this series. This series will be played in Mirpur and Dhaka from July 20 to 24. Pakistan also played the previous T20 series against Bangladesh. Then this series was played in May-June in Pakistan, which was won by the hosts 3–0.

There are many changes in Pakistan’s team which defeated Bangladesh two months ago. Shadab Khan has recently undergone shoulder surgery and is currently in rehab. Haris Rauf is struggling with hamstring. For this reason, he has been eliminated from San Francisco Unicorn’s MLC 2025 playoff matches. Apart from these, Irfan Khan, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Wasim and Naseem Shah have also been excluded from the team. The coach of the Pakistani team is Mike Hessen. This is Pakistan’s second T20I series after Mike Hessen became a white-ball coach.

Some of the youth who got a chance in the Pakistan team performed well in PSL earlier this year. Abbas Afridi took 17 wickets in 11 innings for Karachi Kings. Salman Mirza took nine wickets in just four matches for Lahore Kalandars. Nawaz Quetta was a batter scoring 399 runs in 10 innings for Gladiators. His strike rate was 162.19.
