Pakistan won the tri -series defeating Afghanistan on the basis of Nawaz’s deadly bowling New Delhi. In the Tri -series final against Afghanistan, Pakistan won the trophy by winning on the basis of deadly bowling. This is a great success for the team before the Asia Cup. Batting first, Pakistan’s team scored 141 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs on the basis of Fakhar Jaman and captain Salman Agha’s combative innings. Mohammad Nawaz alone was overshadowed by the Afghanistan team to chase the target. The entire team was reduced to a score of 66 runs in just 15.5 overs. Pakistan won the Tri -series by winning 75 runs.
Pakistan’s team captain Salman Agha won the toss and decided to bat first in the final of the tri -series. Pakistan’s team had barely reached 141 runs in front of Rashid Khan, Fazal Haq Farooqui and Noor Ahmed’s sharp bowling. Fakhar Zaman scored the highest 27 runs while Mohammad Nawaz took the innings of 25 runs to the score to fight.
