New Delhi. There has been a big change in the leadership role in the Indian team for the Asia Cup to be held in Dubai. Shubman Gill has again been made the vice-captain of the Indian T20 team. When the Indian team played a five-match T20 series against England in January-February this year, Akshar Patel was the vice-captain of the team. But now this responsibility was taken away from them. The musical chair game that is going on in Indian cricket for the last one year, is not right in some sense. When the Indian team won the T20 World Cup in June last year, Hardik Pandya was the vice-captain. But after winning the title, Hardik’s vice-captained in T20 format went away. In his place, Shubman Gill was made the vice-captain of ODI and T20 team for his tour of Sri Lanka. Then Shubman Gill also captained the Indian T20 team on the Zimbabwe tour in the absence of the main players.
