An email has been received from Pakistan in which the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has received threats to bomb. After this incident, the authorities immediately took security action. The Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) reported the threat to the Ahmedabad police soon after receiving the message.
A senior police officer said that the match between Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants on 14 May is being taken seriously in the stadium. We will provide strict security in it. The officials are on high alert and they have assured that all necessary precautions are being taken to ensure the safety of the players and the audience.
According to the police, the scary message of a line in the email was “We will fly your stadium. This message was sent under the name” Pakistan JK “. In response, a team of highly placed officers and bomb disposal squads has been deployed to conduct a thorough investigation in the stadium. The police have increased security measures inside and around the stadium.
After the success of Operation Sindoor, the security system in the whole of Gujarat has been increased considerably. Major urban centers including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat and Vadodara are being monitored strictly. Security checks have been extended in more crowded public places like railway stations, airports, religious places and major stadiums.
