Hardik Pandya (Hardik Pandya) coach Jitendra Kumar, recalling the 2018 incident, said how the two brothers had helped him financially. 20 lakh rupees were transferred to buy a car for the wedding of the second sister. In an interview to Times of India, Jitendra Kumar said, ‘Hardik and Krunal had helped financially in my first sister’s wedding in 2018. Not only this, he gave 20 lakh rupees to buy a car during my second sister’s wedding in February 2024 and also gave gifts.

Jitendra Kumar further told that Hardik Pandya also gifted a car to him after his first match in Team India in 2015-16. Jitendra further said, ‘Hardik gave me a car gift after returning from India’s tour of Australia in 2015-16. Which was his first match with the national team. His economic condition was not good at that time. I was surprised and initially I refused to take it. Then Krunal also tried to convince me. However, when Hardik said, ‘We are giving you a car for your safety. You should not have any accident while riding a bike. ‘So I agreed. This was his way to express gratitude to a coach who always stayed with me when needed.
